Like the rays that travels millions
Upon millions of miles to slip quietly
Through these naked branches
So too do your eyes traverse the eternity of
A room to pierce my pensive soul.
Like the deep white paint that
Bathes in serenity the quiet
Cottages of this canvas
So too do your lips press a patient
Passion with their icy vigor.
Like the layer upon layer of wool
That I wrap around this frail body to
Guard it from the frozen night
So too does your body cover mine
With the courage of an embrace.
